Promoting CSR Procurement throughout the Supply Chain The TECHNO ASSOCIE Group is committed to “putting customers first” and doing our best to provide services that meet their needs, while expanding our business in Japan and abroad with products and quality that are environmentally friendly and safe.
The importance of CSR initiatives in the international community is becoming increasingly diversified and sophisticated, including matters such as global warming prevention, environmental protection, and improving labor environments with respect for human rights, and the scope of these initiatives is expanding beyond our own efforts to include our entire supply chain.

In order to meet such social demands, the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group has established the “TECHNO ASSOCIE Group CSR Procurement Guidelines” which we use when engaging in CSR activities with all members of our supply chain. We are making ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with our business partners and promote initiatives aimed at solving social problems and enhancing corporate value, with our first priority being contribution to a sustainable society.

We are also conducting surveys to our major suppliers regarding their own CSR initiatives in order to gain an understanding of what efforts they are making and provide feedback on their status for the sake of making further improvements.
We will continue to promote these initiatives throughout our supply chain.
This year we have also set up a new department to place greater emphasis on dialogue with our suppliers, deepening mutual understanding and collaboration, to go on consolidating our sustainable procurement activities. We aim, in particular, to be a firm that society considers to be indispensable, working to improve customer satisfaction and to protect the global environment by advancing proposals for environmentally conscious products that facilitate carbon neutrality.

We would like to ask our business partners for their continued understanding of the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group’ s efforts as well as for their ongoing guidance and encouragement.

Since the establishment of TECHNO ASSOCIE in 1946, we have combined the technologies and products of our wide range of suppliers with the insights and expertise we have cultivated over many years in the industry to meet our customers’ needs by providing products, technologies, and solutions that create new value. As business becomes increasingly globalized and market needs continue to diversify, the role of our people is becoming even more critical to ensuring our sustainable growth and development.

To this end, we are implementing the following specific measures to enhance employee development and improve work environments.

Human Resource Development
With regard to human resource development, we are committed to supporting our employees in continuously developing their skills and growing professionally. To promote the growth of every employee, we provide opportunities through our Management by Objectives system and a variety of training programs, based on three key principles: on-the-job training through guidance by and dialogue with supervisors, accumulating practical experience in which challenges lead to growth, and instilling a strong desire for growth on an individual level.

Improving Engagement
In addition to individual growth, we believe it is important for each and every employee to embrace the company’s vision and values, have a strong desire to contribute, and maintain a strong sense of belonging, or “engagement”
We detail our Business Policy and Corporate Principles through new employee orientation and other training programs, display them at our offices, and share them with our group companies. We have also established Techno. COMPASS as our guidelines for value creation, which we communicate through various opportunities to help every employee embrace the mindset and actions needed to create value.

In order for our company to effectively adapt to changes in the business environment and achieve sustainable growth, we believe it is essential that employees with diverse backgrounds and perspectives are able to fully demonstrate their capabilities. In order to improve work-life balance, we continually enhance initiatives that support flexible work arrangements and accommodate diverse lifestyles, including remote work, staggered working hours, and support for childcare and nursing care, while also promoting health and safety.

Commitment to "Business and Human Rights"
International norms such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct stipulate that corporations have an obligation to promote respect for human rights.
We take a firm stand on respecting human rights in our Charter of Corporate Behavior and, based on the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group Human Rights Policy, we actively conduct awareness-raising activities and human rights due diligence to eliminate the risk of human rights violations not only within the Group but also among all business partners, including supply chains.
Additionally, our Code of Conduct clearly states that we respect and promote human rights in all the communities where we operate, and that we encourage our suppliers to do the same.
