Together with the sustainable development of society
The TECHNO ASSOCIE Group is dedicated to addressing societal challenges through our corporate philosophy, charter of corporate behavior, and mid-term management vision, Vision 2025. Amid heightening demands on business for sustainability in recent years, our goal is to contribute to the sustainable development of society and enhance corporate value by advancing the following 3 key elements in line with our Basic Sustainability Policy.
● Contributing to nature- positive initiatives and the circular economy, and supporting the green transformation (GX)
● Advancing CSR engagement throughout the supply chain and putting forward environmentally conscious products that contribute to carbon neutrality
● Promoting women's advancement and diversity & inclusion (D&I), and implementing human rights initiatives
In this era, the challenges threatening sustainability in society persist, including the climate change resulting from global warming, the environmental pollution caused by waste, the violations of human rights, and the conflicts. Despite these circumstances, our Group is maintaining a firm stance on solving the problems society faces and is striving to enhance our corporate value in the medium to long term by continuing to be a corporate group considered essential to society.

Playing a Role in the Creation of a Sustainable Society
In January 2025, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) announced that 2024 was the warmest year on record. While the phrase “highest temperature on record” has been revised each year, 2024 was the first year in history that exceeded the Paris Agreement’s aspirational target of “not exceeding 1.5℃ above pre-industrial levels.” This brings the climate change issue closer to a turning point. Furthermore, not only does the climate change but the loss of biodiversity, depletion of natural resources, and environmental pollution caused by harmful chemicals also adversely affect human health, and they also seriously impact ecosystems.
In order to contribute to resolving these social issues, the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group has positioned environmental initiatives as a priority management issue and is strengthening its efforts toward environmental management. In our mid-term management vision, Vision 2025, we address the areas related to renewable energy triggered by decarbonization, the Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric (CASE) area in the automotive industry, and the area of factory automation (FA) including the advanced industrial robots that utilize AI at production sites supporting that production, as areas in which we can expect sustainable growth. We are strategically allocating management resources to these areas and striving to create environmental and economic value.
To give examples of specific initiatives, our Group companies are advancing the use of renewable energy generated by solar power for in-house consumption, and the electricity consumed at our headquarters is all generated from renewable sources with non-fossil certificates, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with our business activities. Furthermore, we are working to manage compliance with regulations on chemical substances contained in products, such as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, and to support projects for the creation of forest abundance with donations to the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization’s “Green Fund.”
While being a trading company, we have also established a quality assurance department to provide high-quality products and have built a quality assurance system so as to deliver safe and reliable products to our customers. We have established internal regulations to prevent the growing social issue of quality fraud and are conducting training and inspections in Group companies both in Japan and overseas. All our employees both in Japan and overseas are pulling together to play a role in the creation of a sustainable society, so that our customers say “I can safely rely on TECHNO ASSOCIE.”

Promoting CSR Procurement throughout the Supply Chain
The TECHNO ASSOCIE Group is committed to “putting customers first” and doing our best to provide services that meet their needs, while expanding our business in Japan and abroad with products and quality that are environmentally friendly and safe. The importance of CSR initiatives in the international community is becoming increasingly diversified and sophisticated, including matters such as global warming prevention, environmental protection, and improving labor environments with respect for human rights, and the scope of these initiatives is expanding beyond our own efforts to include our entire supply chain.
In order to meet such social demands, the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group has established the “TECHNO ASSOCIE Group CSR Procurement Guidelines” which we use when engaging in CSR activities with all members of our supply chain. We are making ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with our business partners and promote initiatives aimed at solving social problems and enhancing corporate value, with our first priority being contribution to a sustainable society.
We are also conducting surveys to our major suppliers regarding their own CSR initiatives in order to gain an understanding of what efforts they are making and provide feedback on their status for the sake of making further improvements.
We will continue to promote these initiatives throughout our supply chain.
This year we have also set up a new department to place greater emphasis on dialogue with our suppliers, deepening mutual understanding and collaboration, to go on consolidating our sustainable procurement activities. We aim, in particular, to be a firm that society considers to be indispensable, working to improve customer satisfaction and to protect the global environment by advancing proposals for environmentally conscious products that facilitate carbon neutrality.
We would like to ask our business partners for their continued understanding of the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group’ s efforts as well as for their ongoing guidance and encouragement.
Personnel & General Affairs Department Message from the Director in Charge

People are the most important driving force for the development of the company
Since TECHNO ASSOCIE’s establishment in 1946, we have been creating new value by crossing our suppliers’ technology with the knowledge we have cultivated over many years, to meet the needs of our customers. The power of people has always been the central pillar supporting this business development. Amid business globalization and diversification of market needs today, the importance of people is increasing still further.
To elicit the maximum potential from our people, we place great importance on the following two points.
ⅰ.Environments that allow each person to fully demonstrate their capabilities
ⅱ.Initiatives to help each person strengthen their capabilities (= capacity development)
To enhance and strengthen this 'Environment' and 'Development', our company is advancing measures based on the following three essential elements:
● Fostering a corporate culture that respects individuality and values while enhancing team strength.
● Building a workplace environment where employees can genuinely feel a sense of fulfillment, tangible results, and personal growth.
● Practicing corporate conduct that allows employees to work with pride.
One such specific initiative prioritizes improvements to our employees’ well-being.
This is because a work environment that is healthy and secure, both mentally and physically, is what forms the platform for bringing out the best performance. We are committed to realizing a safe and comfortable workplace by further promoting flexible work arrangements (remote work, staggered work hours, childcare and aged care support, etc.) tailored to various life stages, and by continuously engaging in health promotion and workplace safety efforts.
Additionally, we are continuously putting forward initiatives to promote women’s empowerment, diversity, and inclusion as key priority issues. To drive innovation by creating new perspectives and ideas it is essential to have work environments where employees from diverse backgrounds respect one another and can play an active role by leveraging their strengths.
We are also actively promoting skill development and career advancement for each and every employee. Employees need to continuously acquire new knowledge and skills and to have opportunities to “update themselves,” so as to adapt to the rapid changes in social and industrial frameworks.
We provide backup for our employees to grow into people equipped to become the driving force of the company’s future by providing a range of enhanced training programs and especially by providing opportunities focused on reskilling and upskilling.
Commitment to "Business and Human Rights"
International norms such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct stipulate that corporations have an obligation to promote respect for human rights.
We take a firm stand on respecting human rights in our Charter of Corporate Behavior and, based on the TECHNO ASSOCIE Group Human Rights Policy, we actively conduct awareness-raising activities and human rights due diligence to eliminate the risk of human rights violations not only within the Group but also among all business partners, including supply chains.
Respect for the human rights of all stakeholders with a connection to our business is also an important theme in our Code of Conduct, and we put a great deal of effort into activities to advance our business in good faith.
TECHNO ASSOCIE will continue to pursue personnel measures that support these business activities, in which people play a leading role, and to build workplaces where each and every employee can grow and demonstrate their capabilities to the fullest.
